For Men: First Date Red Flags

Each person is different, and of course all the circumstances are different, but here, from the point of view female is a guide on two aspects that may give a clue to move on, or saying a polite "no thanks" and move on.

Alcohol

In this culture, drinks (wine often) accompany a dinner out. A first date can expect to be "best" behavior. So how to balance the two?

We are all adults now, and we all know our limits. "Nerves" or "I do not eat any type of food "is not enough. Over-drinking should be reserved for occasions geographically appropriate occurrences with people you know, like and trust. A first date is the place.

For me and most women I know, two glasses of wine is more or less. In a night that extends into the third hour and a quarter yes there may be a third, or added in a cup after dinner, perhaps a change of venue, or have started in a great bar with a fun cocktail before. And it was final result could have been slightly above the legal limit – Yes, probably. If it was a deal breaker? No. Because there is a difference between having alcohol "At the bottom" of the night together and hitting two or three in the first hour.

Moreover, Notice how the behavior with the drinks. Does your date more bubbly, a little stronger anger, more lively and flirtatious (quite normal), or moody, o. Make a note to yourself!

Anger

In my coaching time encourage people to get an appointment first, be a little vulnerable feelings and actions. It's what makes us "real" and which gives the opportunity for emotional connection and chemistry to develop.

But stop! Be careful what you get when opens the door!

Again, speaking personally, for example, if someone asked me to recount my experience of divorce, could do with a tone full of sweetness and light and everything for the better and life is good? Probably not. Should it be a deal breaker? No? Because I'm not going "out" him. I will share experiences as seems appropriate, then go ahead. Because life is good and is too short to be in that filthy place.
