Hasselhoff says new Knight Rider TV series will bomb without him!

Former 'Baywatch' star David Hasselhoff feels that the new Knight Rider TV series will turn out to be a failure because it does not star him. "It's like having Indiana Jones without Indiana Jones," the Daily Express quoted him as saying. Hasselhoff played a brief cameo in the pilot episode of the US remake of his old show. The role depicted him as the father of the new driver of supercar KITT.
However, since the producers are planning not to bring him back in the upcoming series, the 55-year-old says: "It's going to miss the target a little bit." In a way he's right because at his age, he still looks young enough to play Michael.

MORE LEGAL WOES FOR ED MCMAHON!

http://blogtalkradio.files.wordpress.com/2007/11/mcmahon.jpg
Beloved U.S. TV icon ED McMAHON has been hit by more financial woes over the non-payment of bills for prescription drugs. The former The Tonight Show sidekick, who is fighting to save his home from repossession, has been slapped with a lawsuit from the bosses of a Beverly Hills pharmacy, who claim they have two years of bills that haven't been paid. Mickey Fine Pharmacy managers claims McMahon and his wife Pamela agreed to pay the purchase price on the prescriptions, but have only paid $500 of an $8,000 bill.

The pharmacy boss is seeking compensation for the medication costs and coverage of legal fees. McMahon is also being sued by Citibank for nearly $200,000 in debt built up over the last four years. Last month (Jun08), it was revealed the TV star was $644,000 behind on mortgage payments on his Los Angeles home.

Shannen Doherty's 90210 return.

Shannen Doherty is in talks to star in the new spin-off of 'Beverly Hills 90210', it has been claimed. The 37-year-old actress recently met producers of the series to discuss the possibility of reprising her role as Brenda Walsh. However, Shannen will not commit to the role until she has seen her character's storyline. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton claims: "Shannen is interested, but she wants to know what the story is going to be first. She also wants more money than they are apparently offering." Shannen's former co-stars Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have already agreed to reprise their roles in the series, and one website recently started a petition asking for Shannen's return.

One fan, Jimmy, wrote: "Fans want Shannen back for a reason - she gave the show the spark it needed! Her character is a legend! Fans want closure with Brenda Walsh. If this is a spin-off of '90210' then you owe fans that. Bring Brenda back!" Shannen left the original show in 1994 amid rumours she had fallen out with her co-stars, the crew and upset bosses with her lateness. Luke Perry - who starred as Brenda's love interest Dylan McKay in the programme, which ran from 1990 to 2000 - recently revealed he has no intention of joining the new series. He said: "I can't re-imagine it currently. It's just not something that I've thought about to be quite honest. I don't see it happening."

COSBY TO SELL OFF HIS SWEATERS TO CHARITY.

billcosby.sweater

BILL COSBY is selling off his famous sweaters for charity. The U.S. comedian has teamed up with auction management agency Auction Cause to offer his legendary winterwear to fans via an upcoming eBay.com online auction. Cosby wore the multi-coloured sweaters on episodes of The Cosby Show, which ran from 1984 to 1992. The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation charity. The Cosby sweaters will be sold at eBay Giving Works, eBay's dedicated program for charity listings, from 2 June (08) to 12 June (08).
The Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation is a non-profit educational organisation established by the Cosby family in 1997 following the murder of Ennis Cosby, Bill's son.

The funnyman's daughter, Evin, inspired her parents to auction off the famous TV jumpers after coming across them in a closet. She says, "My mother and father were going through a storage closet, and I happened to be there and pounced on these sweaters. "I told them that the price of what some of these sweaters might sell for could make a big difference in the lives of thousands of children."

BANKS: 'I WAS SNUBBED BECAUSE I'M BLACK AND CURVY"

TYRA BANKS faced a battle to become a runway success, because of her skin colour and size. The supermodel-turned-talk show host claims more doors were closed for her than other wannabes, because she didn't fit in with the modelling industry's usual perception of beauty. She even accuses a number of designers of blacklisting her, telling the New York Times magazine, "My biggest obstacle was that I was black and curvy," adding that her agency had a list of "designers who will not book Tyra because of hips and breasts."

The 34-year-old claims modelling bosses tried to convince her mother to put her on a diet - but she refused: "My mother told me the whole thing as we were walking down the street in Milan. "She said, 'They say you're too curvy. Let's go order pizza.' We walked into a pizzeria, and we discussed a career change."
