The teen's death, less than two weeks after another youngster was brutally slain only a few miles away, has focused the British capital's attention on knife crime.

Actor BLAIR UNDERWOOD faced a backlash from black fans after he appeared on SEX AND THE CITY as the African-American lover of a white character. Underwood, the first African-American actor to join the sitcom's predominantly white cast, played Miranda Hobbs' boyfriend, Dr. Robert Leeds - a role which he claims didn't meet the approval of some fans.
But the Dirty Sexy Money star insists his female fans relented after learning he has been married to Desiree DaCosta, a black woman, for 13 years. He says, "In terms of the black female audience, usually in your body of work if you've proven that you love your sisters (black women) and will come back home, they will give you a pass when you jump ship. "I hear it all the time. I heard, 'We'll get you a pass because we know you're married to a black woman.'"

Oscar winner JENNIFER HUDSON found it difficult working with her glamorous co-stars on SEX AND THE CITY: THE MOVIE - because she was jealous of their high-fashion costumes. The Dreamgirls star landed a role as lead character Carrie Bradshaw's personal assistant in the movie version of the hit U.S. TV show - and longed to dress in designer wares like the four New York party girls. But Hudson was left disappointed, as her character was unable to afford the expensive creations made famous in the show.
She says, "I wanted to dress like them. But it was unrealistic for my character. Her budget was not their budget. She was just a college kid... so she couldn't afford any of that stuff." However, the star wasn't left too glum with her budget outfits - because she hates wearing high-heels. She explains, "To be honest, I don't like any shoes. And I can't stand high-heels. I don't know what are the highest heels I've ever had. I've never been label crazy." What's wrong with we black women? She's got an Oscar, they don't and yet she wants more!!!

I thought that man can ACT! Sean Diddy Combs did a fabulous job. Now I thought I was dreaming when I walked into the room and heard someone on the show speaking in my African language-Yoruba. The guy was actually a Yoruba guy from Nigeria per his name. He was the African boyfriend in the show. Phylicia Rashad and Sanaa Lathan also are looking at Emmy awards later this year! Great job!
