Remember Alycia Lane? The News Anchor that was writing some sleazy e-mails to a married NFL player and also struck a cop? Well now comes word that her co-Anchor was hacking her e-mails. This story gets more interesting. Her co-anchor Larry Mendte, longtime Philadelphia TV newscaster was charged Monday with illegally accessing the email of his glamorous former co-anchor, who suspected details of her social life were being leaked to gossip columnists.

Federal prosecutors say fired KYW-TV anchor Larry Mendte accessed Alycia Lane's email accounts hundreds of times and leaked her personal information to a Philadelphia Daily News reporter. Lane's personal life had routinely become tabloid fodder and eventually led to her own dismissal from the station. Read it all here.

Fiji's military government is ordering the publisher of Rupert Murdoch's Fiji Times newspaper, Evan Hannah, to be deported, saying he is a threat to national security. The move is the latest crackdown on the media in Fiji since military commander Frank Bainimarama seized power in 2006.

U.S Cable networks cover suicide of D.C Madam!

The cable news networks, and the broadcasters on their Websites, have been covering the suicide of the woman known as the DC madam. Deborah Jeane Palfrey hung herself in the shed of her mother's home in Tarpon Springs, FL. Last month Palfrey was convicted of running a prostitution ring that catered to Washington's elite.

ABC's Brian Ross found himself at the center of the criminal case against Palfrey last year. Palfrey had given Ross an exclusive interview that included phone records of escorts and clients. But Palfrey's attorney accused Ross and ABC of burying the names of high-profile customers. ABC News denied that allegation.

Palfrey faced 55 years in prison and was free pending her sentencing July 24.

Hannah Montana grounded! Miley Cyrus pulled out of Disney party!

Just a few days ago, she was being serenaded as the world's youngest billionaire, today she has somewhat fallen! Disney says Miley Cyrus won't be attending her first scheduled public appearance since Vanity Fair published photos that have thrown her status as a role model for young girls into question. The 15-year-old star of "Hannah Montana" for weeks has been scheduled to appear at a red carpet event Friday. But Disney confirms she is no longer expected to attend. Cyrus was to appear at a media party in Orlando, Florida on Friday.

Disney did not elaborate Thursday on the change in Cyrus' status for the party.

Vanity Fair's website has CRASHED--The Miley Cyrus photos!

Controversial pictures of teen actress MILEY CYRUS caused the website of U.S. magazine Vanity Fair to crash - after a surge of Internet users keen to see the shots logged online. Vanity Fair magazine's website logged more than four million hits on Monday (27Apr08) and had to temporarily shut down the site to surfers who wanted to see the Hannah Montana star's saucy shots.

The 15-year-old posed for the Vanity Fair magazine shoot wearing nothing but a blanket wrapped around her chest. But the pictures - taken by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz - have caused outrage in her native America, released just a week after candid snaps of the singer/actress posing provocatively in lingerie were leaked on the Internet.

Cable TV operator fined for showing kissing lesbians!

Singapore's cable television operator has been fined for airing a commercial that showed lesbians kissing. The commercial, which was to promote a song by Mandarin pop singer Olivia Yan, was aired on MTV's Mandarin-language channel, the media regulator said. Gay stuff we hear is banned on Singapore TV!

Air America Host Randi Rhodes Suspended For Calling Hillary Clinton A "Big F*cking Whore."

Air America host Randi Rhodes called both Geraldine Ferraro and Hillary Clinton "whores" in a recent appearance, seen below. Rhodes, who hosts a weekday radio show on Air America, said to the cheering crowd, "What a whore Geraldine Ferraro is! She's such a fucking whore!" She then proceeded to say, "Hillary is a big fucking whore, too" to a mixed audience reaction. "You know why she's a big fucking whore? Because her deal is always, 'Read the fine print, asshole!' Times Editor Russ Stanton:

Times Editor Russ Stanton announced that the newspaper would launch an internal review of the documents and the reporting surrounding the story. Stanton said he took the criticisms of the March 17 report “very seriously.”

“We published this story with the sincere belief that the documents were genuine, but our good intentions are beside the point,” Stanton said in a statement.

“The bottom line is that the documents we relied on should not have been used. We apologize both to our readers and to those referenced in the documents and, as a result, in the story. We are continuing to investigate this matter and will fulfill our journalistic responsibility for critical self-examination.”

New TV show to expose Heather Mills' shocking sex secrets!

A new tell-all TV show is set to reveal the shocking sex secrets of Heather Mills. The ITV1 documentary has been put together round the clock since Mills won 24.3 million pounds divorce payout from Sir Paul McCartney. Old boyfriends and lovers of the former model have been recruited by ITV1 to tell all about Mills, reports the Daily Star.

According to sources, researchers have found some embarrassing, never-before-seen facts and footage after delving into Mills' murky past. Steve Anderson, executive producer, said that the former Beatle should have seen the 30-minute film before getting married to Mills. Anderson refused to comment about the exact content of the show but revealed that it would focus on Mills' years when she was a struggling model. Personally, Heather does not like her private life public and all ITV is looking for is a big lawsuit later. Is Paul behind this?

Newspapers apologise to McCanns, donate to fund!

Two British newspapers apologised Wednesday to the parents of missing toddler Madeleine McCann for suggesting they were to blame, and made a donation to a fund set up to find her, a spokesman said. The Daily Express and the Daily Star gave 550,000 pounds to the fund, which was set up by Gerry and Kate McCann in the wake of their daughter's disappearance in Portugal last year.

NY Governor's hooker found in "Girls Gone Wild video vault."

Was she that desperate to make it in show biz that she strayed near Joe Francis? People.com reports that in the video vaults of Girls Gone Wild is footage of an 18-year-old Dupré cavorting naked on the GGW bus and doing scenes with another woman in 2003, the video company announced Tuesday.

GGW found the footage – seven full tapes worth – after the company's CEO Joe Francis offered $1 million to Dupré to appear in one of his videos – an offer he promptly withdrew. Francis will soon release a special video featuring Dupre, now 22, the alleged high-priced call girl linked to the downfall of Gov. Eliot Spitzer. Larry King had a super HOOKER GALORE last night!

After a 3-day marathon of assignments, I'm back to the blogs. I actually just woke up and showered and boy! Last night's Larry King Live was a hooker galore show. TORONTO, CANADA...One day prior to trial date African-American tourist attacked by the Toronto police outside his hotel by Toronto police and falsely charged with assault may lose his lawyer due to lack of additional legal funds. Jason Bogle, Jason Bogle Law Office (www.bogleslawoffice.com), had been the counsel on record, but informed Mr. Allen on Nov. 16th he may no longer proceed due to outstanding legal fees (although Mr. Allen had already paid a significant portion of the fees).

October 16, 2006, at approximately 1:40 pm after checking out of the Econolodge Hotel (335 Jarvis Street) and while in the process of hailing a taxi, Black Americans Tonye Allen and his fiancee, Ann Brown, were assaulted by several Downtown Toronto policemen from the 51st division. Mr. Allen, who did not resist, was beaten and pepper sprayed several times while handcuffed and in police custody. Ms. Brown was choked, shoved, and threatened with arrest as well.
Mr. Allen was never told why he was being detained. The arresting police refused to tell Ms. Brown where they were taking Mr. Allen. After locating the correct police station, Ms. Brown spoke with a "Det. Moyer," who said he "hadn't decided" what he was going to charge Mr. Allen with. Ultimately, Mr. Allen was charged with assault of two policemen and resisting arrest, times two. After Ms. Brown posted cash bail of $1,000, Mr. Allen's passport was taken by "Det. Moyer." Mr. Allen was unarmed. He had never been arrested. He had no criminal history. He has no history of drug/alcohol abuse.

Mr. Allen and Ms. Brown are seeking publicity and legal references to help fight these false charges. Mr. Allen is a photojournalist who works professionally under the name "TRILOBITE." His work has appeared in: Essence, Vibe, The Village Voice, Rolling Stone, LA Weekly , and The Source Magazine. He has worked for Sony Music, PolyGram Records, Def Jam Records, and Interscope Records, among others.

Ms. Brown is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in Essence, Black Enterprise, Upscale Magazine, The Source , and various other publications.

Mr. Allen and Ms. Brown were in Toronto on their way to South Africa.

Head abrasions and bruises
Ear abrasions and bruises
Possible concussion
Right eye: deep cut on eyelid
Black left/right eyes
Damaged left eye, loss of sight (previous 20-20+ vision)
Left ear loss of hearing
Lip bruised

Abrasions/bruises on right cheek
Right and left shoulders contusions and bruises
Left wrist: deep cuts, ligature marks, nerve damage
Right wrist: cuts, ligature marks, nerve damage

Canadian Paper Globe and Mail`s cartoon ruffles feathers!

I do not use the comment interface anymore on my site because I cannot moderate it 24 hours a day. I will print some. Toronto`s proposed Afrocentric schools are coming in fall 2009. The BLACK focused schools idea that has torn the community apart. Personally I do not support it because Martin Luther King Jr and many civil rights heroes in the States and Canada wanted all kids to learn together! After this mess blacks went through in these parts of the world, the trustees at the Toronto District School board that proposed it say that it will reduce the dropout rate in black kids. I say no way as that is segregation and not fair to the other races! Now comes this cartoon that`s really ruffling feathers. I`m waiting for a statement from Sylvia Stead of the Globe and Mail. Funny enough, this cartoon ran almost 2 weeks ago and now gaining attention from the power of the internet. It`s been moving around the world wide web this past few days! Some BUSY Torontonians are just seeing it now.

It was actually sent to me by a few e-mailers. I first received it from someone at Fox TV in Washington DC. I sent it to my 73 year old dad in Africa who is considered to be the number one Mathematical genius in Africa. The algebra on that board is complete nonsense he said. If you even add numbers to the `X` part, they still don`t come out to what those square roots are, as he dissected the cartoon his own way! Everyone is looking at something else. Then the teacher speaks ghetto to the kids. `What`s up dog` can be insulting to the intelligence of some black folks looking at the cartoon said an e-mailer to Keminications. Vote below to tell us your opinion.

1. About the cartoon, the circumstances would determine how I reacted to it. I know professors who talk that way to everyone. I know those who talk that way to only AA students. I know those who say "Howdy, Y'all" to everyone, with neither harm nor humor in mind. Some folks who are sensitive from some past experience might be offended by almost anything. And maybe there is a big reason to be offended that I don't know about. While some whites in the South feel just as offended by the "RN" word (redneck), as African Americans are by the "N" word, it doesn't bother me. Again, for me, it would depend on the circumstances.
