David Partin of Orlando offered the right to name his unborn son to a local radio station that offered $100 worth of free gas to the listener with the most interesting item to trade. Happy FIRST Birthday to Anne Marie and Darryl's TRIPLETS at GLOBAL-TV!

Happy birthday tommorow Saturday June 14th to Annabel, Elizabeth, and Maxim. Mom is Anne-Marie Mediwake a Toronto-based anchor for the Global Television Network's CIII-TV. She currently co-anchors Global's News Hour 6pm newscast with Leslie Roberts. She is married to Global News reporter Darryl Konynenbelt who has been on paternity leave for the past year.

Mediwake gave birth to triplets: Annabel, Elizabeth, and Maxim, on June 14, 2007. An ongoing series on the pregnancy and the births has been carried in the National Post, a sister publication in the CanWest family. Luckily I saved that video of Darryl's "paternity leave" which got 3000 hits on YouTube before I accidentally yanked my old YouTube account. Well, here it is below!

Celebrity NYC newswoman Ly Lo pregnant for boyfriend.

Lynda López a.k.a. "Ly Lo" is an American news anchor. She is the youngest sister of actress and singer Jennifer Lopez. JENNIFER LOPEZ is going to be an auntie in the same year as she became a first-time mother as LYNDA is expecting a child. The 34-year-old news anchor showed off a baby bump for the first time at a Christian Dior party in New York on Monday which she attended with her boyfriend Adam Goldfried and her superstar sister. And a representative reveals, "I can confirm she's expecting." Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February2008.

Toronto Media Baby Bump Alert!!

Okay, so we all know that Liz West at City may pop any day now and we've seen Natasha on CBC news at 6pm doing the weather and moving sloooooowly across the weather map with that huge bump.

Now comes word that another Toronto media hottie has a bun in the oven. It's Tracy Moore of City and she's a Reporter over there. What's in the water at CityTV? LOL. Tracy is also one of our featured members at the Canadian Association of Black Journalists website. She also is seen regularly on BT (Breakfast Television.) Carolyn MacKenzie's also preggo at Global! Congrats to her and we hope everyone has a safe and healthy pregnancy.

CBS Contributor Laila Ali is pregnant!

Muhammed Ali's daughter Laila is expecting! “I don’t know yet if we are having a boy or a girl, but I’m excited that I have a life inside me that my husband and I created.” This is the first child for Ali and the fourth for Conway, who has twin sons, Kelton and Cameron, 13, and a daughter Leilani, 9. “I am 100 percent undeniably happy,” Ali tells ESSENCE. “I’ve never been able to say that before.”

Ali, 30, and Conway, 37, met at his house, when he hosted a small get-together, which Ali attended with a friend. The pair became engaged on Thanksgiving 2006. Shortly after their wedding, Ali told PEOPLE that married life was “excellent.” “My husband and I are best friends,” she said. “We have great communication and we respect each other.”

Media Attention: Actress Halle Berry delivers baby GIRL Sunday.

After spotted like this on Saturday about to pop, Star Magazine reports that "Halle Berry had a 7lb 4 oz girl at 10:17am Sunday morning, March 16, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The actress had checked into the hospital for the second time that day after feeling contractions earlier Saturday morning.

"Halle had come to the hospital at 4am in the morning because the felt like she was going into labor. It was a bit scary because her blood pressure was skyrocketing and everyone was a little tense. She's a diabetic so that was complicating matters as well. The doctors checked the fetal heart rate and everything seemed okay. After a while Halle's blood pressure came down. She wasn't dilating anymore so at around 2:45pm they let her go home.

"Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11:00pm Saturday night.

"Halle was overcome with emotion when she finally held her little girl. She said everything she had gone through was worth that moment. The tears kept coming as Halle didn't even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure. It was a truly beautiful scene." NOW THIS IS THE BABY I WANT TO SEE IN PEOPLE MAGAZINE. SOME MIXED BLESSING! DIDN'T I TELL YOU IT WAS A GIRL IN THERE? SHE CARRIED IT HIGH. Congrats!!!

What's in a J-Lo's baby name?

On my hip-hop blog, I suggested Max and Ruby but she named her twins after Max and Emme, the Dragontales kids who help kids learn family values and also speak bilingualy teaching kids spanish. However, it's Max and Emmy over there and Emmy is 2 years older than Max. I believe the girl came first too. Way to go J-Lo! Creative!

Actress and Singer J-Lo finally gives birth to her TWINS!

Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins - a boy and a girl - early Friday, after one of pop music's most closely watched pregnancies. Lopez representative Simon Fields told People magazine the babies were born at 12:45 a.m. on Long Island. The location was not identified. Lopez, 39, and husband Marc Anthony, 38, married in 2004. The twins are her first children, and his third and fourth. Lopez' publicists and agent did not return calls early Friday.

"Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon," Fields told the magazine. Ending months of speculation, Lopez confirmed her pregnancy at a Miami concert in November. Her father, David Lopez, told Telefutura's "Escandalo TV" earlier this month that she was expecting twins.

$4-6 million for J-Lo's newborns?

People magazine is poised to pay Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony between $4 million and $6 million for exclusive U.S. rights to the first photos of their expected twins, people familiar with the negotiations said last week.

This Media Man is Black and Married with MORE KIDS!

Our friends Lamar Tyler of Fox-TV, Washington DC and Co-Editor of "Black and married with kids" blog and his beautiful wife Ronnie welcomed a beautiful baby girl early this morning shortly before midnight. We hear she's America's next Top Model and Tyra's got nothing on her! LOL. Lamar is also the webmaster for MyVoiceDC.com, the African-American portal of Fox-5 Washington DC's TV website. Global-TV news personalities Anne-Marie Mediwake and Darryl Konynenbelt show us their triplets!

Last night on the 6pm newscast with Leslie Roberts, Anne-Marie and Darryl took us into their home to show us what I call a second JOB! With my three sons, 21, 16 and 7, I sometimes feel I have some damn demanding triplets the way these ones are spoiled! I have to deal with BET music videos, YTV and Teletoon/Treehouse cartoons. You know, the parental screening frenzy! Wanting cell phones, i-pods, digital cameras and the latest sneakers by some undeserving NBA ball player.

Oh! Anne-Marie and Darryl, your time is coming!!!! She's a news anchor, he's a reporter named Darryl Konynenbelt. He's Mr Mom in this video and currently on "paternity leave." 30 diapers a day, three loads of laundry and more. Multiples can be a very demanding job. Anne-Marie did beautifully well. Just take a look at her post preggo body after gaining 75 pounds with the babies during the pregnancy. The triplets just turned 7 months and it gets easier I think..........I moved here on the 5th of June 2007 and remember how I always say I've never seen her on the air? That's why? I later found out she was on "matertripletnity" leave! .......BUT nobody told me it was three then.

Campbell Brown returns to CNN after the baby.

CNN's Campbell Brown returns to the air next Tuesday for CNN's Super Tuesday coverage. Campbell just had a baby last December 18. CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein tells TVNewser, Brown "will be joining Lou, Wolf, Soledad and Anderson" on Feb. 5 and her new 8pmET show, "is on track to be launched in March."

Popular radio Show host loses 2-year-old son to pool drowning!

William Bronner 'Cornbread' Burgess, the 2-year-old son of Rick Burgess of The Rick and Bubba Show in the U.S and his wife Sherri, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 19th as a result of drowning. Rescue workers were called to the Burgess' home around 7:30 p.m. after it was discovered that Bronner had fallen into the family's pool. The workers performed CPR but were unable to revive Bronner, and he was pronounced dead at Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Thanks to Celebrity baby blog for the story and tip.

Nancy Grace on "The View" yesterday.

Nancy Grace came on "The View" and talked about what else, the babies and also the killer of her ex-fiance that was recently released from jail. Keith Griffin's murderer, Tommy McCoy, was released from the Georgia Department of Corrections on December 5, 2006. According to the department's website, McCoy is a "Past Inmate," who is currently on parole (he is identified as Inmate No. 0000400964). He was convicted of Aggravated Assault, for which he received 10 years, and for Murder, for which he received life.......but he's OUT! To me Grace looked visibly scared on the show when she said this.

Grace was also asked by The View crew about the legal cases such as the dead pregnant marine and the O.J. Simpson's bail battle. "O.J.'s out of jail, in case y'all were worried about him," Grace told the in-studio audience, eliciting laughter. "So I advise: when you leave here, go straight home, lock the door and hide under the bed."
