COSBY DENIES TERRANCE HOWARD'S CLAIMS.

http://agentsmithfiles.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/terrence_howard.jpg
LATEST: Veteran funnyman BILL COSBY is furious TERRENCE HOWARD has blamed THE COSBY SHOW for almost destroying his career. Howard landed his first acting part in the legendary comedy show in 1988 but he was sacked before any of his scenes were aired. The Crash star claims he was so angry that his scenes were cut, he confronted the show's star and producer Cosby - who he claims subsequently blacklisted him in the entertainment business. But Cosby denies almost ruining the star's acting career - saying he does not recall the incident. He says, "I don't like something being out there that I know for sure isn't true.

"There's no person that I know of that I've ever felt strongly enough to call and say, 'If this guy calls, don't book him again. "Somewhere, there's something missing. And that is somebody saying either I never said those things, or, I'm sorry. And it's taking too long. And these blogs go out, man. I don't want people looking at Bill Cosby talking about, 'I had people barred.' It just gets too far out."

Mmmm......I can believe that!

Daughter of 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin gets doll..

Bindi Irwin, Emmy-winnng daughter of late "Crocodile Hunter," is getting her own 25-centimetre doll, dressed in khakis and sporting binoculars, a camera and other outback gear, as well as a cockatoo, wombat and python. The replica of the child star is part of a toy line being developed by Wild Republic, a division of K&M International, based in Twinsburg, Ohio. The company began marketing a Steve Irwin doll several months after the Australian T-V show host's September 2006 death from a poisonous stingray barb piercing his chest.

The rubber dolls based on his daughter are set for U-S retailers this September.
Bindi Irwin's career began with appearances on her father's shows and later expanded to live music performances and child-fitness D-V-Ds. Bindi the Jungle Girl, a child-friendly version of her father's show, began in June 2007 on the Discovery Channel. Bindi, nine, won a Daytime Emmy last month for the show. Wild Republic says a portion of the doll sales will help fund efforts to breed endangered species and rescue animals.

MEL B WRITES 'BLACK HANNAH MONTANA'

Former SPICE GIRLS star MELANIE BROWN has written a new sitcom which she describes as the "black version" of hit children's TV series HANNAH MONTANA. Brown has penned the script and is set to star in the new series, which has been picked up by TV channel Nickelodeon and is scheduled to go into production later this year (08). The singer claims the show has a style similar to teen star Miley Cyrus' programme Hannah Montana - which has been a major global success - but insists it will appeal more to young, black kids. She says, "I've written my own sitcom that's just been picked up by Nickelodeon that I start at Christmas. "I'm the star of it. It's a bit like Hannah Montana, but the black version."

SMURFS TO HIT THE BIG SCREEN.

Classic kids cartoon characters THE SMURFS are coming to life in a new live action/animated movie. Shrek 2 and Shrek The Third writers David Stem and David Weiss are set to pen the screenplay after bosses at Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures bought the rights to a Smurfs movie. The Smurfs first appeared in 1958, when they were created by Belgian cartoonist Pierre Culliford. They later starred in a U.S.-made Hannah Barbera cartoon, which ran from 1981 to 1990.

Columbia co-president Doug Belgrad dells industry publication Variety, "The Smurfs are one of the best-known franchises, and among the most beloved collection of characters in the world."We're very excited to introduce a new generation to (characters) Papa Smurf, Smurfette and the other smurftastic Smurfs in all their glory."

Lindsay Lohan, Naomi Campbell and real life ELLE magazine editors all on "Ugly Betty" finale last night.

Betty's home run ball

Drama: Some French kid showed up saying he's the father

Wilhemena about to pitch to Naomi Campbell who was so bitchy on the show

Wilhemena means business!

Naomi Campbell not taking things seriously

Real life Elle magazine Editor Joe Zee

Lindsay Lohan is Kimberley, a high school acquaintance of Betty's who suddenly resurfaces in Betty's life. We're assuming Kimberley and Betty (played endearingly by America Ferrera) weren't exactly linemates on the high school popularity team. She was on there 3 minutes at the beginning of the show, so if you showed up at the sofa at 8.08pm you missed her!

Last night's episode also featured crazy supermodel Naomi Campbell and ELLE magazine editors Joe Zee and Robbie Myers, all of whom will appear as themselves. Mode, the fictional magazine at the centre of Ugly Betty, is matched up against ELLE in an annual charity softball game, a scenario that obviously has rich comedic possibilities.

Campbell is ELLE's star player. Will Wilhelmina (the enchantingly evil Vanessa Williams) be able to strike Campbell out? BETTY caught the ball in a home run kinda thing! Read the entire Sun article here. I watched it with my 7-year old and was it a crazy episode or what? That writer strike made every season finale just go fast!

Terri Hatcher pissed that ABC killed off her daughter character on Desperate Housewives!

TERI HATCHER has hit out at the producers of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES for axing her onscreen daughter from the show. The actress was devastated when she discovered Andrea Bowen would not be a part of the regular cast for the next season of the hit show. In the finale, which aired in America on Sunday (18May08), the cast was transported five years into the future - and Bowen's character Julie was revealed to be a student at Princeton University.

As a result, the character will be absent from the next season of the show and Hatcher thinks that is a mistake. She tells USA Today newspaper, "She (Bowen) is somebody who I have done the majority of my work with for four years. I've watched her grow up from 13 to 18, get a driver's license. I can't begin to tell you the depths of how impossibly hard it is for me to think about her not being there. "This is a totally producer/network decision that I have nothing to do with, and I guess I can go out on a limb and say I don't support."

Posh Spice to become a regular on "Ugly Betty."

Victoria Beckham is set to return to 'Ugly Betty.' The former 'Spice Girl' will be making regular appearances on the hit US TV show, about Mode fashion magazine, after impressing bosses with her cameo last year. A series insider said: "The producers are delighted she will return. She is going to feature quite a bit." When she appeared as herself in an episode last year, Victoria was locked in a cupboard by publishing executive Wilhelmina Slater.

The role is Victoria's latest venture into acting. She is also set to star alongside Steve Coogan as Lynn - his long-suffering PA - in 'Alan Partridge: The Movie', after Felicity Montagu, who played Lynn in the original TV series, refused to travel to Hollywood for the shoot. Victoria's footballer husband David Beckham has also starred as himself in the 'Goal' film trilogy.

Behind-the-Scenes Look at New Beverly Hills, 90210.

Desperate Housewife says her looks are due to GOOD GENES!

Actress NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN of ABC's "Desperate Housewives" has refuted claims she has undergone cosmetic surgery - insisting her looks are down to "good genes". The Desperate Housewives star, 44, admits that although she has never gone under the knife, she won't rule it out in the future. She says, "I have been accused of doing things to my face, but I haven't had anything done. I'm not saying that they're won't be a time when I say 'Okay, maybe', but I'm very blessed to come from generations of very good skin. "My mother looks a lot younger than she is, and so did her mother. I have a bit of sun damage, but otherwise, I come from a pool of good genes." I believe her! Do you remember how fine that girl was on KNOTS LANDING?

Sheridan made her debut in Paper Dolls, but her breakthrough came in 1986, when she joined the cast of the CBS night-time soap Knots Landing as "Paige Matheson". She started out as a recurring role, but proved to be so popular that she was a regular during the 1988-89 season. For her performance in the role, she won the 1990 Soap Opera Digest Award for "Outstanding Lead Actress: Prime Time" and the 1991 Soap Opera Digest Award for "Outstanding Heroine: Prime Time". The same year, she was named one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People".

UGLY BETTY STAR 'NERVOUS' ABOUT NEW YORK MOVE

LATEST: UGLY BETTY star AMERICA FERRERA is worried about moving her hit show from Los Angeles to the east coast - because she fears filming will upset New Yorkers. The city's mayor Michael Bloomberg welcomed the series' relocation after producers announced the show would be moving east last week (06May08) to make the most of new tax incentives on offer in New York. According to city officials, the move will create more than 200 jobs in the Big Apple.

But Ferrera isn't convinced New Yorkers are so eager so see the show leave its L.A. roots. She says, "I'm excited. I'm a little nervous too. New Yorkers are really cool. I'm just a little nervous about hoe they're going to accept the show. We'll be on the street blocking the way." Crewmembers on the L.A. set protested the decision last week (08May08), when its 300-strong staff banded together to take out an ad in trade paper Variety to highlight the resulting job losses prompted by the move.

SURPRISE VISIT: Britney Spears comes out on music reality show to support his former Manager!

BRITNEY SPEARS surprised the contestants of new MTV reality show ROCK THE CRADLE by turning up for the season finale - in support of her former manager LARRY RUDOLPH. Rudolph is a judge on the hit program, which sees aspiring pop stars, who have musician parents, compete for their own place in the spotlight. And Spears - who shot to fame under Rudolph's management - paid an impromptu visit to the Los Angeles set on Thursday (08May08) to wish her former mentor well, watching the live show from backstage.

Rudolph tells Usmagazine.com, "She was here to support the show. I mentioned to her that I was going to my show. She said, 'I want to come down.' She loved it. She really loved it. "She didn't come here for publicity or anything like that. She came here because she wanted to see the show, which I appreciated." You recall I profiled and interviewed RTC contestant L'il B Sure, son of Al. B Sure.
