U.S. radio presenter HOWARD STERN will not be marrying his fiancee BETH OSTROSKY this weekend (17-18May08). The couple began dating in 2000 and Stern proposed to the model-turned-TV presenter last year (07). Stern and Ostrosky were rumoured to be tying the knot on Saturday (17May08), but Ostrosky has refuted the claims. She tells Usmagazine, "October is the month." A pal adds, "No wedding this weekend! No idea how that one got started!"
Ellen DeGeneres and “Arrested Development” star Portia de Rossi are getting married! According to an audience member at the Thursday night taping of the Ellen show, Ellen DeGeneres herself made the announcement that she and girlfriend Portia de Rossi are planning a wedding. Now that the California Supreme Court ruling in favor of gay/lesbian marriage is in effect, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi can legally get hitched.

New mom Halle Berry is engaged to her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry after he gave her his grandmother’s ring. “Gabriel felt the time was right to propose. He gave her the family heirloom because he wanted to show her how much she means to him, and how she will be accepted into the Aubry family,” a source close to the couple said.

Paula Zahn, who left CNN last year will be hosting Retirement Revolution, a two-part PBS program, next month. According to the Chicago Tribune's Phil Rosenthal, the program "will explore the financial challenges facing the nation's aging Baby Boom generation, offering suggestions on how to prepare for retirement." The program is scheduled to run on PBS stations starting March 31. The last you heard of her on this blog was the dirty divorce involving their teenage daughter handing mommy's black book o'secrets to dad. That was some juicy dirt you know!
