STREEP SLAMS STARS FOR BABY PICTURE SALES!

http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/pic/73/039_42299~Meryl-Streep-Posters.jpg

Legendary actress MERYL STREEP has hit out at celebrity parents who sell pictures of their newborn children for cash. The Oscar winner is appalled whenever she hears about a star bargaining for media cash over baby photos - even if the cash is for charity. The mother-of-four insists children's privacy is too valuable to sell snapshots to the highest bidder. Streep says, "One thing I learned very early on is when you're famous, you lose your right to privacy. And, if you promote your children, if you have them photographed, then they lose their rights.

"But, if you do not have them photographed and (do not) sell them to OK! magazine, they have the right to... privacy and citizenship. "They (paparazzi) can follow me, take a picture, whatever they want to do. My kids, no." In recent months, Hollywood mums Jessica Alba, Jamie-Lynn Spears and Jennifer Lopez have released exclusive photos of their newborns in financial agreements with celebrity magazines. It is reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are currently negotiating a $15 million deal for the exclusive photos of their newborn twins.

I agree it's kinda hard to get on the cover of PEOPLE these days unless you are a celeb with a newborn!

Jennifer Anniston does NOT want Jen Connelly on same magazine cover and threatens to pull out!

Jennifer Aniston allegedly threatened to pull out of a magazine photo shoot if co-star Jennifer Connelly joined her on the front cover. The former 'Friends' actress had agreed to appear in a new issue of America's Marie Claire magazine to promote latest movie 'He's Just Not That Into You' but reportedly didn't want Connelly featured in the main photographs. However, she was happy to pose alongside other female co-stars Drew Barrymore and Ginnifer Goodwin. A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "She threatened to pull out if Jennifer was part of the cover. It was all about getting Jennifer Aniston front and centre and looking as sexy as possible." Insiders on the movie set claim the two Jennifers didn't hit it off while working together.

One said: "There was no camaraderie between those two whatsoever. They didn't seem like friends in the slightest." However, Aniston's representative has denied the story, insisting the two actresses became good friends on the movie and the magazine had requested she pose alone. The representative said: "There is no drama whatsoever. Marie Claire wanted Jennifer Aniston alone. It was our idea to make it a group cover as Jennifer Aniston has a smaller supporting role in the film. "The magazine only wanted to put three of them on the cover and definitely wanted Drew Barrymore. "We recommended Ginnifer Goodwin because she is basically the lead role in the film. Jennifer got along great with Jennifer Connelly." Ego! Ego! Ego!

UPDATE: JENNIFER ANISTON's publicist has been quick to kill reports the actress has fallen out with HULK star JENNIFER CONNELLY. According to U.S. magazine reports, Aniston wanted to keep her He's Just Not That Into You co-star Connelly from appearing on the cover of an upcoming issue of Marie Claire magazine. But Aniston's representative insists the rumour is "absolutely absurd," adding, "There is no drama whatsoever." The spokesperson tells Us Weekly magazine, "Marie Claire wanted Jennifer alone. It was our idea to make it a group cover. "The magazine only wanted to put three of them (actresses) on the cover, and definitely wanted Drew Barrymore. "We recommended Ginnifer Goodwin because she is basically the lead role in the film... Jennifer got along great with Jennifer Connelly."

"The Canadian Immigrant Magazine is an important resource tool for those in their first years in Canada. The magazine's mission is to inform, educate and motivate more newcomers to see what life in Canada can be like,” said Mr. Noorani in a previous interview."
