COWELL TO LAUNCH WORLD'S GOT TALENT.
Music mogul SIMON COWELL is set to launch a global version of his AMERICA'S GOT TALENT show. Cowell has scored TV hits with both the U.S. and U.K. versions of the programme, and now he wants to take his talent search one step further with World's Got Talent - comparing the competition to that of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. He says, "This global show will unite the best acts. It's going to be great."The Eurovision's not perfect - that's why we want to have a go at doing something that rivals it. But it's watched and enjoyed by millions of people around the world.
"There will be some countries' acts that make you laugh and cringe. They won't be to everyone's liking, but that's the whole point - it gets people talking and arguing. But I think we can get genuine talent." Cowell and his business partner Simon Fuller are the brains behind other popular reality shows American Idol and the U.K.'s The X Factor.

CLAY AIKEN TO BE A DAD!
Gay Singer CLAY AIKEN is having a baby with his best friend, music producer JAYMES FOSTER.
A spokesman for 50-year-old Foster's music mogul brother David Foster has confirmed she is pregnant via artificial insemination, and due to give birth to the 29-year-old American Idol star's child in August (08). Bill Vigars tells People.com, "The story is true... Clay is the father. She was artificially inseminated by Clay.
She's due in August... She looks great, glowing and very happy. "She and Clay have been good friends ever since American Idol, when they worked together." Aiken, who has repeatedly refused to address rumours he is gay, is reportedly thrilled with the news and plans to be an ever present father to the child, even though he has no plans to wed divorcee Foster. Aiken was American Idol season 2's finalist. Aiken's sexual orientation has been the topic of much speculation since he rose to fame on the U.S. singing competition show "American Idol."

Archuleta Cooked!: David Cook WON AMERICAN IDOL!
One crazy show with lots of performers. George Michael of Wam sang, Donna Summer too as both came out of their 17 year hiatus. Seal did a duet, Bryan Adams, the guru advice was shown and more........I loved that sexy white dress Carrie Underwood had on. My highlight of the show was the end when the Judges have a final word. Simon apologized to David Cook the way he snarled at him last night acknowledging he was overly nasty! (Yeah Simon) ....That's because he knew the poor boy had already won. Gladys Knight sang with some weird white pips. Robert Downey Junior and two others with one losing his pants.

Reuben Studdard performed on last night's "Idol" finale.
He closed up the show last night. Seemed like nobody even noticed him. Reuben looked bored, tired and he did nothing thruout his reign. Those 205 Entertainment guys just bilked his money! I hope this is his comeback. Also Reuben was dropped from his record label recently as I reported on my music site.
