A smart-phone isn't right for me, but PDA's are going obsolete; any help on what to do to keep work easy?

I like to keep my devices separate, so the idea of a smart-phone is out of question for me, and I use a PDA (Ipaq) but since they are going obsolete, finding accessories to keep it up and running is getting harder. Can anyone help me with what I can do to work on Microsoft Office on the go without the need of a smart-phone? Thanks.
