"HEFTY" DECISION: The new Playboy Playmate's Canadian!

Canada's quarter-century drought has finally ended: Playboy's Playmate of the Year is a Canadian again. Jayde Nicole, 22, of Port Perry, Ont., has been named Playboy's 2008 Playmate of the Year. The last time a Canadian held the title was in 1982, when Shannon Tweed won the honour. Along with her title, Ms. Nicole receives $100,000 (U.S.) and a 2008 Cadillac CTS.

According to Playboy, Ms. Nicole is writing a fitness and beauty book and has just finished filming a pilot for a reality television show about her life. She also owns her own modelling agency.
