Now Toronto Magazine takes us thru Icecreamology!

Let's face it, I'm new to Canada arriving here June 2007, I tend to blend into the new society easily and of course take my blog with me. But when I hit my fist ice cream parlor in Toronto, was I disgusted when the server did not know what "wet walnuts" were? Is it me or is it a non-Canadian thing? In my USA days, you got the scoops, added wet walnuts and syrupy wet strawberries, hot fudge all topped with whipped cream. You paid the "airfare" (that's what I call the tab...LOL) and then travelled away to heaven. She was offering me "SPRINKLES?" That's my kiddie KJ's s*it! I dont fool with candy bits in my ice cream! Now Toronto magazine's Steven Davey only visited places that MADE their own ice cream to start with and then compares and contrasts. Great article! A definite must read! (CLUE): Now I'm gonna find something better than basking out in the sun with Batman's fellow super hero boy. You know the ice cream shop that drove me crazy now! That was then....This is NOW!
